Tier List

This site's reference ratings group NTE characters into T0, T1 and T2. They are not an official ranking or a measured community consensus.

NTE is still early, so strength ratings are in flux. This list is unofficial, player-estimated data for reference only — actual power shifts with patches and new characters. Build whoever you like and whoever fills your team's needs.

How to read the tier list

Tiers reflect a character's overall strength and flexibility at typical investment — they're not absolute. NTE is a 4-unit team game built around elemental reactions and role coverage, so a T1 unit that fills a needed role is often more useful in practice than forcing in a T0 unit whose role overlaps. Cover your team's roles first, then chase raw numbers.

FAQ

Who is the best character in NTE right now? +

This page currently lists Chiz, Chaos, Iroi, Lacrimosa, Sakiri, Nanally, Shinku, Esper Zero in T0. These are the same ratings shown above, not a separate ranking. The best choice for your account depends on teammates, investment and the encounter.

Should I always pull T0 characters? +

No. First identify the missing role in your team and check the character's required partners and rotation. A rating alone is not a reason to spend currency or money.

Are A-rank characters worth building? +

Yes, when their skills fill a role your team needs. Compare support effects, available Awakenings and upgrade costs with the characters you already own rather than treating rarity as a damage ranking.

Does this list prove who deals the most damage? +

No. These are editorial reference ratings, not results from a controlled equal-investment damage test. Unrated characters have no rating assigned here; that does not mean they are weak. Check individual build guides and current in-game descriptions before deciding.

Ratings above are player-compiled; actual power and mechanics follow the live game. Let us know if anything looks clearly off for the current version.
